DRACONIC ABSURDISM

Welcome! Draconic Absurdism (previously Borxoii Studios) is a small fursuit maker from Pittsburgh, PA. I've been a furry for a decade and a half, and have been fursuit making for about 10 of those years! Fursuit making is 1 of my 2 part time jobs, so I'm a lot slower paced than other makers, but I have fun!Being part of this community is my strongest passion and my special interest. I love unique species, complex designs, and palettes with tons of colors, so you'll see a lot of that in my premade work! Outside of fursuit work, I'm into horror and liminal spaces, dragons and monsters, Spyro the Dragon, Bloodborne, alt subcultures, music (mostly metal, punk, EDM, breakcore, experimental hip hop, hyperpop, and a bit of 2010s nostalgia girlypop & rock), furry history, sociology, DIY stuff, and various scientific rabbit holes (animal genetics, ecosystems, nuclear chemistry, geology, meteorology, etc)This site is never fully updated, so if you want to see my newest work, you'll have to FOLLOW ME ELSEWHERE (my Insta is where I post most of my fursuit work, and my Bluesky is where I post most of my digital art)I sell my premade fursuits and parts through the Dealer's Den, linked below. If interested in buying a premade, check out my terms of service and gallery below! I don't offer custom work, commissions, or trades.I'm always happy to answer questions and/or provide additional photos or videos of my work at draconic_absurdism on Discord or Telegram. You can find all of my social media links HERE

TERMS & PAYMENT

-You must be 18 years of age or older to purchase any fursuit work from me. By purchasing my work, you agree that you are at least 18 years of age.-I accept payment in USD through payment links on CashApp (preferred due to no seller fees), Stripe, or PayPal. If you are understandably nervous about paying an artist through CashApp, I'm happy to let you talk to other people who have done so, and they can verify that I deliver services reliably.-Customer pays shipping unless otherwise specified. I use Pirateship.com for shipping labels and prefer to ship through USPS, but UPS is more affordable for larger packages. Customs and tariffs can be very expensive, so be aware of additional cost if you are outside the USA!-I am unable to accept returns or refunds. You are welcome to resell a suit you no longer want. If you are in the midst of a payment plan and want to cancel, I will help you advertise a "voucher" (someone can buy you out of your payment plan and complete paying for the rest of the suit themself.)-If you no longer want your suit for any reason, you are welcome to re-sell it. The suit can be sold for a higher price than purchased if it is still in mint condition and additional merchandise such as a badge or artwork have been added, or if you find yourself in an unexpected dangerous financial situation. I recognize that art can increase in value with time! As long as you are not intentionally buying my suits just to profit from them, we're cool. I am happy to help advertise resale posts.-I accept payment plans of up to 4 months unless otherwise specified! I will only ship your product after I have received full payment.-I offer free delivery at Anthrocon! We can meet in a public area, and I will hand the product off to you after payment is received!-Do not offer trades, nor send lowball offers or haggles, unless these are specifically requested in a sales post.-When multiple people are offering on a suit, the first one to send payment gets the suit. This rule may seem harsh, but it has been put in place due to many people claiming a slot and then ghosting me before sending payment.-I do not work with measurements. A partial or full duct tape dummy is required for any part that needs a perfect fit (bodysuits, perfect fit sockpaws, 3/4 legs, arm sleeves). You are welcome to commission another maker to tailor my work!-If your fursuit arrives with unforeseen significant flaws that were not mentioned in the sales post (holes or popped seams, broken parts, etc.) I will repair it for free or otherwise offer to cover repair costs. I try to ensure my products are as perfect as possible before delivery, but all fursuits are imperfect. If mistakes happen, I am happy to correct them at no additional cost to you! However, I cannot cover the cost of repairs from natural wear-and-tear over time, so please take good care of your suit!-Please let me know in advance if you plan on having the suit altered or refurbished. I'm totally fine with this, I'd just love to see what you do with the suit!-You are welcome to use my fursuits for any purpose, wear it to events, post photos and videos online, use for 18+ content, etc. Once you own it, it is yours to do with as you please! All I ask is that you take care of my work, and keep it clean and safe from food and anything unsanitary that can cause rips or stains! My fursuits are unique pieces of art that I put a lot of love and work into.-You are not permitted to use my fursuits or the character designs that come with them for hate speech, discriminatory acts, harassment, or abuse, as this is grounds for blacklisting from my services.-As with any fursuit, take frequent breaks and drink water to prevent overheating. Draconic Absurdism is not responsible for injury or illness while in suit. Please take care and know your own limits!-By buying a product or service from me, you agree that you have read and understood these terms. Thank you!-Feel free to contact me with questions on any of my social medias, Discord, or Telegram (linked on the homepage)

FURSUIT CARE

-It is advised to wash and brush your fursuit after extended wear at meets or conventions. THIS is the cleaning tutorial I recommend following. Bodysuits with removable padding can be machine washed on a delicate cold cycle. I recommend hand washing other parts with gentle clear soap and COLD water, or with a Little Green Machine.-NEVER USE HEAT OR HOT WATER to wash any part of a fursuit, as it can damage the fur fibers and cause fabric to leach dye and stain your suit. If you have accidentally used hot water on your suit, immediately run cold water over it to wash out the dye before it sets and permanently stains.-DO NOT MACHINE WASH my fursuit heads. My fursuit eyes are constructed with foam sheets, which can be damaged by machine washing. In addition, machine washing can case damage or fading to drybrushed or airbrushed fursuit parts.-Be sure to FAN DRY your suit ALL THE WAY THROUGH, especially the inside of foam and lined parts. If moisture remains inside the suit, it is possible for mold to grow. A moldy suit is dangerous to wear and must be thrown away. There is no way to completely save a fursuit from mold once it has grown.-Fursuits, like any other article of clothing, can eventually pop seams after long-term wear, especially if worn roughly. I recommend all fursuit owners learn ladder stitch and blanket stitch, as these are great for fixing most burst seams! I advise using upholstery thread for the strongest hold.

HEALTH, ALLERGY, & COVID-19 NOTES

-Every member of my household is fully vaccinated, including the newest COVID-19 booster, and all products will be disinfected thoroughly before delivery!-My work comes from a completely smoke-free home.-I have a cat who interacts with my workspace. Suits are cleaned before shipping, but be aware if you are allergic to cats that my suits may cause you irritation.-If you have any health, accessibility, or safety concerns, please contact me!
